Abstract:A new type of acidic fog inhibitor FC-1100 is introduced. This new type of agent has been tested in some domestic copper smelter. The result showed that the FC-1100 is able to decrease the surface tension of electrolyte efficiently and ensure the oxygen to be separated out from the anode plates easily during electrolyzing process without acid mist, It will improve the working conditions greatly.
