The hardness was determined by micro-hardness tester. The effects of current density, concentration of nano-Al2O3 particle, and temperature and pH value of plating solution on hardness of coating were investigated. The microstructure and HYPERLINK "app:ds:corrosion" \t "" corrosion HYPERLINK "app:ds:resistance" \t "" resistance of the coating with the highest hardness value were investigated by SEM and electrochemical testing. The results indicate that nano-Al2O3 particles distribute in coating, grain of composite coating is further refined and performance of corrosion resistance is obviously improved.
