| Abstract: |
| The preparation of active zinc oxide by high-speed atomization decomposing method from a low-grade zinc oxide ore was studied. The low-grade ore was leached by NH4HCO3, NH3·H2O and H2O. The leaching efficiency was 98.48% and the ZnO content in the leaching solution was up to 25.3%. The impurity of leaching solution was precipitated by zinc powder and filtered. Then the filtrate was injected into a spray drying tower at entrance temperature 430 ℃. It can generate highly active zinc oxide. The iodine-absorbed quantity of active zinc oxide prepared was 42.445 mg/g and much higher than that of the other preparation method. |
