Abstract:
The β-cyclodextrin coated TiO2 powder was prepared by sol-gel method and performed by XRD, electrochemistry analyses, Brunauer-Emmet-Teller (BET), UV-vis and fluorescence. As a photodegradation reagent, we selected 2, 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2, 4-DPA), which was used for the determination of methodology on the photocatalyzed degradation. The results indicated that the TiO2 coated by β-cyclodextrin could obviously change the intensity of fluorescence and the absorbance of UV-vis. Furthermore, the UV irradiation, reaction time, catalyst concentration, and supersonic treatment could also affect the photocatalytic degradation of 2, 4-DPA.
