| Abstract: |
| The effect of heating temperature, heating time and mineral size on sulfur content adopting the process of microwave desulfurization and the digestion performance of bauxite are studied; and according to XRD spectra of raw ore and ore dealt with microwave, the desulfurization mechanism of high sulfur bauxite are also discussed. The results show that sulfur content of high sulfur bauxite decreased to 0.37% from 4.15% in microwave heating temperature 650℃, microwave heating time 5 min, mineral size 0.095~0.076 mm; under experimental conditions, digestion of alumina may be promoted to 98.7% from 80.4%. |
