| Abstract: |
| The yttrium aluminum garnet fibers were prepared by sol-gel method using aluminum chloride，aluminum powder, yttrium oxide，acetic acid as raw materials. The effect of the ratio of aluminum and aluminum chloride, the addition of acetic acid on sol spinning were studied. The result indicated the spinning precursor sol was obtained when acetic acid was added to the precursor. Yttrium aluminum garnet fibers were obtained under sintering at 1000℃ for 2 hours, with 10～40μm in diameter. |
