Abstract:
      A new process for reducing lead with carbonaceous reducing agent at high temperature from Yuguang lead-rich slag has been investigated. The optimum conditions indicated in the results are that the reduction process is conducted at 1 150 ℃ for 1 h while 3.5% carbonaceous reducing agent is added. Under the above conditions, lead-rich slag is reduced completely, and slag containing lead can drop to 3%.
