Abstract:
The microstructures and mechanical properties of Al0.5CoCrFeNi high-entropy alloy aged at temperatures range from 600 ℃ to 1 000 ℃ for 24 h were studied. The results show that FCC and BCC phase structures remain unchanged after aging treatment, and the microstructures mainly are dendrite. However, with the increase of aging temperature, dispersive second phase precipitates and the amount of second phase increases. Furthermore, the aging treatment can enhance tensile strength due to the dispersion strengthening of second phase.
