Abstract:
      Zn(NH3)2Cl2 was prepared by the process of leaching secondary zinc oxide with ammonium chloride solution, deironization, deep impurity-removing and crystallization. The results showed that the zinc leaching rate was more than 99% under the conditions that the concentration of NH4Cl solution was 4 mol/L, the molar ratio (NH4Cl/Zn)was 4:1, the leaching temperature was 70 ℃, and the leaching time was 60 min. The impurities could be completely removed by 27.5% hydrogen peroxide solution oxidizing Fe and zinc powder displacement process. The prepared Zn(NH3)2Cl2 was characterized by chemical analysis, XRD, SEM and TG-DSC. The results showed Zn(NH3)2Cl2 was pure in integral crystalline form.
