Abstract:
      The sinking process of neodymium formed on cathode surface in electrolyte was a typical two-phase flow in neodymium oxide electrolytic cell. Two-dimensional unsteady state solution two-phase flow modeling was established with 3 kA neodymium electrolytic cell as prototype, the distribution of the flow field and neodymium liquid concentration at different time were obtained by numerical simulation and the analysis was conducted on the results.
