| Abstract: |
| Effect of the cooling methods on conductivity of Li6BaLa2Ta2O12 prepared by conventional solid state reaction procedure was studied. Samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, 6Li-MAS-NMR and ionic conductivity measurement. The results showed that there was a single phase oxides with garnet-like structure. There was a non-uniform microstructure in the sample prepared by slower cooling due to agglomeration. The ionic conductivity increased with increasing speed of cooling, while activation energy decreased with increasing cooling speed. There were two kinds of lithium ion in samples, octahedral sites and tetrahedral sites respectively. There was more mobile lithium ion in the sample cooled under a faster speed, with better conductivity performance than in the sample cooled in oven. |
