Abstract:
The molybdenum disulfide flower-sphere were hydrothermally synthesized by reaction of Na2MoO4, CS(NH2)2, and different reductants (NH2OH·HCl, H2C2O4). The results showed that the product was nearly pure MoS2 when mole ratio of Mo to S was less than or equal to 1∶5. The particle size increased as the mole ratio of Mo to S reduced. The MoS2 microspheres had rough surfaces and were of sheetlike structures in the two different systems. The product in the system with NH2OH·HCl as the reductant had bigger particle size, clearer petal-sheets, coarser surface, and slighter agglomeration than that in the system with H2C2O4 as reductant. The related reason was explained.
