| Abstract: |
| Reserch results of process development are reported for roasting and leaching of gold and copper from gold concentrates containing high-grade copper sulphides. Enlarged tests on the process in the bench scale experiment give the overall recovery of gold and copper 98.74% and 93.03% respectively from gold concentrates containing Au 42g/t and Cu15% which are difficult to recover by single direct cyanidation. In accordance with feasibility study results on industrial production in the scale of 50t/d, the economical indices are profit and tax rate of capital investment 23.48%, profit rate 15.94% and DCF 18.5%. A technological key is solved in the copper hydrometallurgy. Higher technological indices and better economical effects which have the advantage over pyrometallurgical treatment colud be obtained. |
