| Abstract: |
| Liquidus temperature of actual aluminum electrolyte samples was measured directly. A mathematic model about the relationship between liquidus temperature and cryolite ratio was simulated. Sensors made of different materials and protection tubes were compared and the best combination of the sensor with the protection tube was selected. A new type of graphite crucible was preferred. The improvements lengthen the using time of sensors. |
