Abstract:
Several enriching processes of recovering palladium from waste alumina catalyst, such as complexation by ammonia and precipitation by acid, adsorption by active carbon and resin, reduction by zinc plates, and precipitation by sulfureted sodium, have been studied in this paper. It is found by comparison that the enrichment process by choosing sulfureted sodium as the precipitator is optimal for recovering palladium. This process is characterized by simple operation, high precipitation rate, and low costs. Thus a good profit has been achieved during our practical productions and applications.
