Abstract:
      The new technique of leaching and iron removal separately was used to treat the zinc oxide with high content insoluble sulphuret (S in). The results indicate that this process can resolve the effect of S in on the jarosite iron removal process. The 4g/L Fe 2+ in the acidic leaching solution can removed to <1g/L, on the other hand, the zinc leaching rates was more than 90%.
