| Abstract: |
| In Guixi Smelter, the highest furnace life of copper converter is 242 heats and the average life is remained about 220 heats. After the improvement test was carried out for tuyere brick in copper converter, such as: increasing the content of Cr 2O 3, density, strength and decreasing the impurities on the tuyere brick, the average life was up to 238 heats. Meanwhile, the physical and chemical property of the residue brick was analyzed. |
