| Abstract: |
| The composite photocatalyst of Fe_2O_3 coated with TiO_2 has been prepared from Fe_2O_3 and TiCl_4 as precursors by hydrolysis method. Their structures and morphology are characterized by XRD and SEM. Using methyl orange as a model pollutant, the activities of photocatalysts Fe_2O_3, TiO_2 and TiO_2/Fe_2O_3 are compared, and the optimal ratio of Fe_2O_3 to TiO_2 is determined. The reaction mechanism has also been discussed. |
