Abstract:
Precipitation process of the goethite from hot acid leaching solution of zinc concentrate roast dust was investigated.Experimental results indicated that the effect of reactive time and volume of air flow on the rate of iron removal is not significant, but temperature and final pH of solution are main influence factors for the iron removal process. On the optimum condition of iron precipitation: final pH value is 3.0,333 K,reactive time is 2 h,air flow is 0.2 m~3/min,the ratio of iron removal exceeds 99.50% and the concentration of Fe in solution can decrease from 40 g/L to below 0.1 g/L.
