| The experiments of producing zinc oxide with low halogens content by pellet roasting-washing process from electric arc furnace(EAF) dust was carried out,and under the optimum experiment condition,the volatilization rate of Zn and Pb is over 94%,90% respectively;and majority of fluoride is fixing in the residual pellets as MnF_2,the crude zinc oxide dust has little fluoride,which can be de-fluoridated by soda washing easily,and the last product(62.14% Zn,0.011% F,0.20% Cl),met the demands of leaching material of zinc oxide treatment system in Zhuzhou Smelter Group. |
