| Abstract: |
| A series of Ru doped TiO_2 photocatalysts were prepared by sol-gel method and charactered by means of X-ray diffraction and UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy.It was found that the process of phase transfer of TiO_2 from anatase to rutile was inhibited and the absorption intensity of TiO_2 in the region of visible light was increased by doping Ru.The optimum doping content of Ru was 0.014%,the photocatalyst of Ru(0.014%)/TiO_2 had a higher photocatalytic activity to hydrogen generation from water under visible light irradiation. |
