| Abstract: |
| The solubility of MgO in melt salts of MgCl_2-NaCl-KCl-CaF_2(MgF_2/NaF)and MgCl_2-NaCl-KCl-Nd- Cl_3 have been measured.Orthogonal experiment and response surface analysis experiment were designed to study the dependence of MgO-solubility on the percent of CaF_2 and MgCl_2.Results show that the influence of the per- cent of CaF_2 and MgCl_2 on the solubility of MgO are remarkable in melt salts of MgCl_2-NaCl-KCl-CaF_2(MgF_2/ NaF)and the solubility of MgO are determined by the content of only NdCl_3 in melt salts of MgCl_2-NaCl-KCl- NdCl_3;The thermodynamics of the dissolution of MgO have also been studied,the result shows that dissolution cause of MgO in melt salts is created new complex ion. |
