| Abstract: |
| Particle size distribution of alumina hydrate precipitated during precipitation process of alumina produc- tion was analyzed by the method of population balance.The growth rate and number of birth particles of alumina hydrate were obtained by population balance equations.The positions and conditions were deduced,for which the different processes such as nucleation,growth and agglomeration may occur.The relationship between the crystal growth rate and running time of the precipitation process were also discussed. |
