| Abstract: |
| The characteristics of WC-12Co coatings prepared by the recently developed High-Efficiency Supersonic Plasma Spraying(HEPJet) was introduced and compared that some features about technical and economic with APS and High Velocity Oxy-Fuel(HVOF) process that widely used to prepare WC-12Co coatings.The result shows that decarburization of tungsten carbide was improved obviously than APS,and oxidation was lower relative to HVOF,which result in the properties of coatings by HEPJet was superior to APS and equivalent to HVOF.On the other hand,being higher deposition efficiency and lower power and gases consumption which resulting to significant total cost savings,HEPJet exhibitions the significant application of technical and economic. |
