| Abstract: |
| The total load between kiln supports is transmitted to the shell at tyre stations as shearing forces. According to the character and the condition of shell deformation and balance, the mathematical models of contact angle and contact pressure distribution between kiln tyre and kiln shell have been set up. The rule of contact angle and contact pressure distribution between kiln tyre and kiln shell is obtained under variable gap and variable support force, when the support force increase, the contact angle and contact pressure increase; the larger the gap, the less the contact angle, and the greater the contact pressure. |
