Abstract:
      The Nd3+-TiO2 catalysts were prepared by isovolumic impregnation method and sol-gel method.The morphology,crystalline structure and composition of catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,and UV-Vis.The photocatalytic activity of the catalysts for the synthesis of methanol from carbon dioxide and water were studied,and the effect of parameters,such as neodymium loading,reaction temperature,CO2 pressure,irradiation time and the concentration of catalysts on the photocatalytic reaction were also investigated.The metal particles of catalysts prepared by sol-gel method are homogeneously dispersed with a narrow size distribution.It presents higher activity for the synthesis of methanol from carbon dioxide and water compared with the catalysts prepared by iso-volume impregnation method.
