Abstract:
Metal neodymium in neodymium oxide electrobath sinks in the electrolyte belongs to typical two mediums flowing. Therefore, it is feasible to research the diffusion of metal with the rising of the neodymium liquid surface at the electrobath bottom with the plenty-mediums mixture model. The impact of electric magnetic field to the fluid is not considered in the simulation course. In the course of designing the electrobath, the magnetic field arised by generatrix and electrode can restrain the diffusion of the neodymium to a certain extent. Researching the single fluid flowing can offer certain theoretical foundation to the arrangement of generatrix and electrode. 3 kA neodymium electrobath is used as model to research the distribution of metal neodymium in the electrobath generated from the surface of cathode when the electrobath is under the normal condition, and the results are analyzed.
