| Abstract: |
| The recovery rate of zinc from zinc concentrate with high iron and indium content is higher by jarosite process. Most of indium remains in the jarosite residues and a little part of indium remains in the high acidity leaching residues. Then indium ingot can be obtained using the above two kinds of residues as raw material after roasting, leaching, extracting, electrolysis and casting. The optimal leaching conditions are. 40 g/L initial acid concentration in neutral leaching process, 30 g/L initial acid concentration in lower acid leaching process and 60 g/L initial acid concentration in higher leaching process. Production results show that the total recovery rate of indium and zinc can reach up to approximately 72% and 92%, respectively. |
