| Abstract: |
| The normally functionally graded YSZ/MCrAlY thermal barrier coatings,Nano-structured ZrO_2 coating and Cr_2O_3 coating,as well as Ti-Al intermetallics coating were prepared using a recently developed Supersonic Plasma Spraying system.The characterizations and microstructures above mentioned coatings were observed by means of the SEM,EDX,XDR and TEM and these all exhibited a better bonding strength and density relative to conventional plasma spraying. |
