Abstract:
      Aluminum nanoparticles with average diameter of 80 nm were prepared by evaporation-condensation method.After preparation,the powder was passivatedin situby inert gas containing a little of oxygen. XRD,TEM,XPS and HRTEM were employed to investigate the chemical component,shape and structure of the nanoparticles and its surface.It shows that the structure of the passivated particle presents acore-shellconformation with a oxide overlayer less than 5 nm thickness enwraping aliuminum metal.
