| Continuous Copper Converting Process(C3),which is cooperative developed by Houma Smelter and Ausmelt Company,has been successfully used to produce qualified blister copper.The operation of C3 is simpler than that of Ausmelt bath converting.Implementation of the Ausmelt C3 process will allow the furnace temperature control;the off-gas quantity and density are more stable.But there are still some problems needed to be solved: the copper in slag is higher and the direct recovery rate is lower. |
