Abstract:
      A process for the reclamation of selenium in high purity from scrap alloys is discussed.The alloy is converted to a mixture of oxides by burning method,then separating the selenium oxide formed by alcoholic dissolution,purified by sublime,followed by treating this solution with a reducing agent,and thereafter separating the selenium product.The impurity elements in selenium are determined by ICP-AES.Results show that the content of selenium is more than 5N(99.999%).
