| With the addition of surfactant 1,2-Octanediol,the strength and morphology of Al(OH)3 products precipitated from sodium aluminate solution have been investigated on certain process conditions.The results show that 1,2-Octanediol has strong inhibitory effect on gibbsite precipitation from seeded sodium aluminate liquor(during the early stage of the precipitation),many small crystals were generated with the addition of 1,2-Octanediol.Some of these small crystals were filled in the notch of crystal grains,othe... |
