Abstract:
      The concentration process of the purified alkali solution with 50% content is investigated with the use of the efficient rotary film evaporator with 1 m2 heat-transferring surface. The effects of heating temperature, feed flow rate and vacuum on the completed solution concentration, evaporation intensity and total heat transfer coefficient are examined, and the process conditions are optimized. The results indicate that the concentration of the concentrated alkali solution reaches to more than 75% under the condition of boiling point feed-in, above 260℃ of the heat transfer-oil, 0.080±0.005MPa vacuum and 0.08m3/h flux. It can meet the concentration demands of recycling alkali solution in sub-molten cleaner production process of chromium salts, and with great economic benefits.
