Abstract:
The industrial process of bio-heap leaching for the uranium ores with high fluorite content is conducted based on the earlier researches. The heap with 4315t uranium ore is set up and the average uranium grade of the ore is 0.186% and the particle size is -6mm. The 05B flora grows well in raffinate with the concentration of fluorine 2~3.98g/L. After 112d leaching, 92.63% of the uranium in the ore is solved with 3.14% of acid consumption. Compared to the conventional heap leaching process, the leaching rate is increased by about 3 percentages, the leaching period is shortened by more than one month and the acid consumption is reduced by about 1.8 percentages.
