| Abstract: |
| Ultra low carbon bainite steel with yield strength up to 850MPa is gained through TMCP treatment on the copper-containing Mn-Nb-B micro-alloyed steel. The microstructures with different distances from the face are investigated by means of the optical microscope and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The precipitates in the lath bainite are described through the transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show that the microstructure of the ULCB steel with yield strength up to 850MPa is mainly composed of fine lath bainite. Along the thickness of the steel plate, the width of the lath bainite does not present obvious change, but the length increases from the surface to the center. The lath bainitic microstructure refinement and fine precipitates play a decisive role in the experimental steel. |
