| Abstract: |
| Lithium-nickel-manganese oxide is a promising cathode material for the future lithium-ion batteries due to its characteristics including high capacity and rich resources, low cost, environmental benignity, attracting wide attention in recent years. The progress of the research on lithium-nickel-manganese oxides as cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries is reviewed. The structures, preparation methods and electrochemical performance are introduced. The existing problems and the according solutions of these lithium-nickel-manganese oxides are also discussed. Finally, the prospects of this cathode material and the suggestions for further investigation are proposed. |
