| Abstract: |
| High titanium slag was analyzed in terms of its chemical composition and XRD. The process for preparing TiO2-1 grade artificial rutile from high titanium slag was obtained by means of a series of exploration tests. The results show that pressure leaching and enhanced roasting-leaching process could prepare artificial rutile with over 92% TiO2 content from high-titanium slag, which meets TiO2-1 requirement of YS/T299-2010, as a result, it can be used as the superior raw materials for chloride titanium white production. In addition, some other methods were studied, such as direct leaching, reducing roasting-leaching, oxidizing roasting-leaching and so on, through which the grade of TiO2 was less than 90%. |
