Abstract:
The leaching kinetics and separation of antimony and arsenic from arsenic alkali residue were studied. The effects of solid/liquid ratio, stirring velocity, temperature and time on arsenic leaching rate were investigated with the orthogonal test. The results show that the optimum conditions include solid/liquid ratio of 1∶4, temperature of 90 ℃, stirring velocity of 600 r/min, and time of 60 min. The kinetic equation can be expressed as . The activation energy for arsenic leaching is 666.57 kJ/mol based on a chemical reaction-controlled process.
