| Abstract: |
| The super-elastic performance of TiNiCr shape memory alloy is investigated by using the WDW-10 Electronic Universal testing machines and XRD test. The results show that the super-elastic performance of the sample is remarkably influenced by the heat-treatment technology, and the elastic curves are different for the samples heat-treated with different temperatures. With the increase of heat-treatment temperature and retention time, the elastic property is firstly increased and then decreased. The completely super-elastic performance of the TiNiCr alloy can be achieved by heat-treatment at 430℃ for 10~20min. The strengthening phase Cr3Ni2 may be formed in the heat-treatment process, the quantity is the maximum of at 430℃ for 10~20min, then is reduced with the increase of the heat-treatment temperature and retention time. The best super-elastic performance is achieved at this case. |
