Abstract:
      The effect of ultrasonic vibration on hot tearing of Al-8.0%Cu alloy is investigated with Al-Cu alloy as raw material. The results show that the alloy crack resistance is increased by ultrasonic treatment into melt, and the hot tearing trend is decreased. The fracture section is intergranular fracture and trace of stretched liquid film exists clearly.
