Abstract:
A new process of zinc leaching from lead-bearing zinc residue with low and high acidity countercurrent process were studied. The effects of ratio of liquid to solid(L/S), time and temperature on zinc leaching rate were investigated in low acidity leaching process; while the effects of initial H2SO4 concentrations, time and temperature on zinc leaching rate and lead content in high acidity leaching process were investigated. The results show that the leaching ratio of zinc can reach 99.29%, 98.25% of lead remains in high acidity leaching residues, the content of lead can reach 62.25% in high acidity leaching residues under the following optimum conditions, which are liquid-solid ratio of 6∶1, reaction time of 5 h, temperature of 60 ℃ in low acidity leaching process; While initial acid concentration of 170 g/L, reaction time of 6 h and temperature of 95 ℃ in high acidity leaching process.
