Abstract:
The paper discussed the principle and mathematical form of Box Model, with the application of which, the emitting amount of main heavy metal such as Pb, As, Cr, Cd, Hg, Cu and Zn from an unorganized pollutant source in the smelting area of a certain domestic copper smelting plant was calculated. Furthermore, the application of Box Model was analyzed and commented. In conclusion, as a practical and feasible method, the Box Model can be used to calculate the emitting amount of heavy metal from the unorganized atmospheric pollutant source of nonferrous smelting plants in application.
