Abstract:
The acid-precipitating process to prepare nano-MoS2 with Na2MoO4, H2C2O4, Na2S and HCl by microemulsion method was studied. The effects of acid-precipitating, microemulsion system, quantity of hydrochloric acid, water content on the particle size and yield of the product were investigated. The results showed that the optimal conditions in TritonX100/isoamyl alcohol/n-heptane/water microemulsion were that the molar ratio of hydrochloric acid to Na2MoO4 was 1.25, the molar ratio of H2O to surface active agent was 25, by double microemulsion precipitating process. Under these optimal conditions, the molybdenum disulfide powder with good decentrality and average diameter of about 60 nm were obtained.
