Abstract:
The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time and sulfuric acidity on leaching rates of Ga, Ge, Zn and Fe were tested with the leaching residue containing gallium and germanium produced in traditional zinc metallurgical process as raw materials. The optimum comprehensive experiment conditions include reaction temperature of 95 ℃, initial acidity of 153 g/L, and reaction time of 3 h, L/S=5.9/1. Under the above conditions, the leaching ratio of zinc, iron, gallium, and germanium can reach 88%, 93%, 88%, 68% respectively. Ga and Ge can be concentrated from the leaching solution after neutralization and reduction.
