Abstract:
      The preparation process of cerium oxide polishing powder was studied by ammonium bicarbonate precipitation. The effects of precipitation temperature, cerium nitrate concentration, feeding speed and stirring speed on particle size and specific surface area of CeO2 polishing powder were investigated by means of L16(44) orthogonal test. The optimum preparation conditions included temperature of 60 ℃, cerium nitrate concentration of 50 g/L, stirring speed of 500 r/min, and feeding speed of 50 mL/min. The particle size, morphology and burnishing mass of CeO2 prepared under the above optimum conditions were studied.
