Abstract:
Oxygen pressure leaching process was applied to treat low iron sphalerite concentrate. Eh-pH diagram of ZnS-H2O system at 150 ℃ and 1.0 MPa was drew. The single factor experiments were performed in autoclave, the leachate and residue were characterized by ICP, XRD, XRF and BET. The results indicate when particle size is -0.075 mm~+0.055 mm, temperature is 150 ℃, oxygen partial pressure is 0.8 MPa, initial acid concentration is 15%, leaching time is 90 min, leaching liquid-solid ratio is 6∶1~8∶1, stirring speed is 500 r/min, and additive amount is 1.0%, extraction rate of zinc is above 97% and conversion rate of sulfur is about 90%. Sufficiently leaching of zinc and enriching of element sulfur in the residue were achieved via the process.
