Abstract:
Ferric iron was reduction leached from sulfate slag with sulfide agent. Effects of the following factors on leaching were studied, such as, dosage of additives, sulfuric acid consumption, initial sulfuric acid concentration, reaction temperature, stirring speed, and reaction time. The results show that iron leaching rate reaches 99.4%, efficiency of additive usage reaches 98.9% on the following conditions: surplus coefficient of leaching agent is 1.1, surplus coefficient of sulfuric acid is 1.4, 3.5 mol/L initial sulfuric acid concentration with 800 r/min stirring rate, 95 ℃, 3 h.
