Abstract: |
The lead oxygen-enriched flash smelting plant with an annual capacity of 100 kt crude lead was put into production on May 10, 2011 in Linbao City, Henan Province, with independent intellectual property rights in China, under the joint efforts of Huabao Industry (Group) Co. Ltd. in Lingbao and Beijing General Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, the provider of the main techniques and equipment design in this project. Raw materials containing 30% Pb were put into the furnace and flash smelting slag with 8%~12% Pb was received. After lean reduction in electric furnace, waste slag with < 2% Pb, <2% Zn, <6 g/t Ag & Au and <1% Cu was produced. The grade of the obtained crude lead was more than 98%. The flash smelting dust containing >65% Pb and <3% Zn with a yield rate of 8%~12% was totally returned to the flash smelting process. Metal recovery rates reached >98% Pb, >99.5% Au, >99.5% Ag, respectively. The utilization ratio of total sulfur was over 98%, and the comprehensive energy consumption of the crude lead was 213 kgce/t, including the energy consumption of zinc volatilization in electric furnace. |
