Abstract:
      Commonly used conveying technology for dry copper concentrate was introduced. Based on project example, main technical and economic indexes of airlift and dense phase pneumatic conveying for dry copper concentrate were studied. The results show that the above two conveying technologies have their advantages and disadvantages. In general, both can be applied to convey dry copper concentrate in new copper smelter or existing copper smelter upgrading. In addition, dense phase pneumatic conveying is more flexible and less restrictive in arrangement. Airlift conveying has obvious advantages in terms of conveying efficiency, stability, operation and maintenance, and lower operating cost.
